Keep going through the titles until you find the correct one. Try to learn the 3 or 4 first parts so you don't have to look back and forth all the time. This will take a while as you have to match up the segment maps by eye. Open the ripped disc (or the original disc if you prefer) in MakeMKV and start scrolling through the playlists with the arrow keys. I will strongly recommend that you go into MakeMKV's preferences and set the "minimum title length" to be as close to the completed playlist as possible to weed out any fake playlists with a shorter playtime. Save the completed playlist and write down the stream titles like "00509, 00512, 00510" etc for easier viewing. If it's a complete scene change it usually helps to go by the background music and hear if it matches with the last clip.Ĭontinue finding the next clip and next clip until you have found the complete movie. You now have to find the next m2ts file that contains the next part of the video. Go to the end of the file and watch the last few seconds. Once you have that, add that m2ts file to the playlist of the second instance of your media player. Skip through the rest of the files until you find the beginning of the movie. Skip through every file and remove any files that are menus, extras or piracy messages.
Open the Bluray folder of the movie you just ripped and add all the m2ts files in the STREAM directory to the first instance of the media player.
Open two instances of your favorite media player that can read the m2ts files. It takes probably 60 minutes from starting to finding the correct playlist.įirst you need to make a decrypted backup of the whole disk as you will be manually sorting through the media files.
