shortly afterward, you hear horrific screaming off camera to where Ren has run, and Stimpy slowly peeks over the fence and says, "There's no dogs, but there's a babooooon.".

In another rare showing of that Stimpy malice, Stimpy truthfully claims there are absolutely no dogs in that yard.

Ren tells Stimpy to look for dogs, to make sure it's safe. The only other single moment in the entirety of Ren & Stimpy that I can imagine liking more is hwen they play on the old cartoon (typically Tom and Jerry, though others did it) of them getting across a fenced yard to get at some pies. The whole bit is set up so nicely has just the right undertone of malice, I love it. Not only does it show Stimpy's latent twisted side, but it also introduces us to the "Happy Happy Joy Joy" song in its entirety.

I was watching some of my old Ren & Stimpy eposodes when I cam across my favorite episodes of all time, Stimpy's Invention.
